Own the investigation lifecycle; take a signal from definition through root-cause analysis to a written recommendation

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years in payment analysis, payment operations, or financial reconciliation ideally at a payments company, SaaS platform, or fintech
Payments-fluent; know what an ACH return code means, why a reconciliation breaks, how retry logic works, and what a chargeback lifecycle looks like
Investigative by nature; dig into discrepancies and trace issues across complex, multi-party payment flows
Clear communicator; comfortable owning external relationships with partner’s finance teams and coordinating across internal stakeholders
Process-minded; see manual work and immediately think about how to systematize and document it
Self-directed; thrive with ownership and autonomy; manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
