About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage and develop the assigned Northeast territory
- Actively hunt for new customer opportunities
- Build and execute a territory strategy focused on new customer acquisition
- Commit to meeting customer needs and critical deadlines
- Negotiate sales of shower, bath units, and accessories
- Develop and maintain working relationships with vendors and industry partners
- Identify and attend trade shows in the assigned territory
- Respond to customers promptly and ensure satisfaction
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must live in or near the assigned Northeast territory
- Exceptional product knowledge
- Proven ability to hunt for new customers
- Strong understanding of identifying ideal customers across remodeling and construction
- Demonstrated ability to research markets and convert new business opportunities
- Self-directed sales professional comfortable with building territory strategy and prioritizing opportunities
- Territory knowledge for remodeling, construction networking, and compliance
- Outgoing rapport-building style
- Strong presentation, organizational, and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience selling to or through dealer networks
- Knowledge in MS Office including Word, Excel, and CRM software
- Ability to handle complaints and stressful situations
- Ability to work as a team player and collaborate with others
