About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage and develop the assigned Northeast territory
  • Actively hunt for new customer opportunities
  • Build and execute a territory strategy focused on new customer acquisition
  • Commit to meeting customer needs and critical deadlines
  • Negotiate sales of shower, bath units, and accessories
  • Develop and maintain working relationships with vendors and industry partners
  • Identify and attend trade shows in the assigned territory

Requirements

  • Exceptional product knowledge
  • Proven ability to hunt for new customers
  • Strong understanding of identifying ideal customers across remodeling and construction
  • Demonstrated ability to research markets and convert new business opportunities
  • Self-directed sales professional comfortable with building territory strategy and prioritizing opportunities
  • Territory knowledge for remodeling, construction networking, and compliance
  • Outgoing rapport-building style
  • Strong presentation, organizational, and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience selling to or through dealer networks
  • Knowledge in MS Office including Word, Excel, and CRM software
  • Ability to handle complaints and stressful situations
  • Ability to work as a team player and collaborate with others
