Prospect, develop, and close new business opportunities with health plan executives across Quality, Population Health, Stars, HEDIS, VPs, and CMOs
Own the full sales cycle from lead generation through contract close as an individual contributor
Tailor consultative pitches to demonstrate how BFF solutions drive measurable outcomes (e.g., Stars improvement, HEDIS compliance, financial performance)
Represent BFF at national and regional industry conferences to elevate brand visibility and generate opportunities
Partner with Marketing, Strategy, and Operations to design tailored proposals and ensure seamless onboarding of new clients
Maintain accurate pipeline metrics, forecasting, and deliver business intelligence to leadership
Identify new payer opportunities and expand into untapped markets to support long-term strategic growth
Requirements
7–10 years of healthcare business development experience, with strong payer or Government Plan relationships
Established network with decision-makers in Quality, Population Health, Stars, HEDIS, and clinical leadership roles
Proven track record of consultative sales and navigating long, complex sales cycles
Strong executive presence and the ability to communicate at the C-suite level
Strategic thinker who understands payer priorities and value-based performance models
Ability to travel 10–15% for conferences, client meetings, and industry events
Benefits
Base Salary Range: $110,000 – $130,000
Annual Performance Bonus Opportunity: 15% of base salary (prorated if hired mid-year, subject to performance requirements)
Commission on Sales: 10% commission on all qualified, closed deals
Uncapped earning potential
Commission payments issued within 45 days of quarter-end (eligible revenue must be recognized and verified by Finance and approved by Senior Leadership)
