About the role

  • Prospect, develop, and close new business opportunities with health plan executives across Quality, Population Health, Stars, HEDIS, VPs, and CMOs
  • Own the full sales cycle from lead generation through contract close as an individual contributor
  • Tailor consultative pitches to demonstrate how BFF solutions drive measurable outcomes (e.g., Stars improvement, HEDIS compliance, financial performance)
  • Represent BFF at national and regional industry conferences to elevate brand visibility and generate opportunities
  • Partner with Marketing, Strategy, and Operations to design tailored proposals and ensure seamless onboarding of new clients
  • Maintain accurate pipeline metrics, forecasting, and deliver business intelligence to leadership
  • Identify new payer opportunities and expand into untapped markets to support long-term strategic growth

Requirements

  • 7–10 years of healthcare business development experience, with strong payer or Government Plan relationships
  • Established network with decision-makers in Quality, Population Health, Stars, HEDIS, and clinical leadership roles
  • Proven track record of consultative sales and navigating long, complex sales cycles
  • Strong executive presence and the ability to communicate at the C-suite level
  • Strategic thinker who understands payer priorities and value-based performance models
  • Ability to travel 10–15% for conferences, client meetings, and industry events
Benefits
  • Base Salary Range: $110,000 – $130,000
  • Annual Performance Bonus Opportunity: 15% of base salary (prorated if hired mid-year, subject to performance requirements)
  • Commission on Sales: 10% commission on all qualified, closed deals
