About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide technical support and assist in drafting and maintaining technical guidance
- Contribute to research projects and prepare technical presentations or publications
- Engage with members by responding to queries and preparing materials for committees
- Maintain structured datasets and support the development of digital tools and resources
- Assist in drafting communication materials and attending industry events
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in building services engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, environmental engineering, or similar
- Familiarity with UK building regulations and standards bodies (BSI, CIBSE, IET, BESA) is desirable
- Experience with CAD/BIM/design software, data analysis tools, or technical writing is a plus
- Technical aptitude in STEM concepts and ability to interpret documents is essential
- Curiosity for understanding systems and standards, with analytical thinking skills
- Attention to detail and professionalism with stakeholder awareness is important
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain organization is critical
