About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct discovery, fact-finding, and current-state analysis to understand processes, pain points, stakeholder needs, handoffs, dependencies, and improvement opportunities.
- Gather, analyze, and document requirements for BPRASSP initiatives, H.R.1 implementation, Medicaid policy and payment policy, operations, system impacts, and stakeholder-facing workflows.
- Analyze where policy, operations, systems, and stakeholder needs intersect, and identify alignment gaps, process issues, root causes, and opportunities for redesign.
- Develop process documentation, workflow maps, business rules, SOPs, QRGs, readiness materials, and other implementation supports.
- Develop recommendations for process redesign, operational improvement, policy alignment, system readiness, and sustainable implementation.
- Support implementation of approved improvements by updating workflows, documentation, tracking tools, workgroup outputs, Jira items, and related materials.
- Support workgroups and core teams by preparing materials, documenting outcomes, translating findings into recommendations or action items, and tracking decisions and dependencies.
- Support project deliverables, reports, meeting notes, and implementation materials by translating analysis, findings, recommendations, decisions, risks, and action items into clear documentation.
- Maintain project materials and action tracking in SharePoint and Jira in alignment with document management, version control, and follow-up standards.
- Facilitate interviews, workshops, requirements sessions, process improvement discussions, and follow-up meetings.
- Apply continuous improvement and change readiness practices to support practical, data-informed, and sustainable improvements.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience with business analysis, process improvement, operational analysis, requirements gathering, workflow documentation, or implementation support.
- Experience with Medicaid, healthcare, public sector programs, eligibility operations, payment policy, policy implementation, or comparable complex program environments.
- Strong facilitation, writing, analytical, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Ability to synthesize policy, operational, system, data, and stakeholder input into clear findings, recommendations, and implementation actions.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Jira, SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, or similar analysis, coordination, and documentation tools.
- Ability to handle sensitive program, operational, and client information in alignment with confidentiality, PII/PHI, and HIPAA expectations.
