Revenue Cycle Consultant – Per Diem

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work with clients directly every day
- Perform or assist in meeting the various revenue cycle needs of our clients, whether on a consulting or interim basis, based on your expertise
- Learn new skills given a broad variety of assignments
- Prepare and present client deliverables
Requirements
What you’ll need- Deep healthcare revenue cycle experience
- Knowledge and understanding of government and commercial payor rules and regulations
- Familiarity with various electronic medical record systems (EMR)/patient accounting systems (PAS)
- Familiarity with revenue cycle best-practices and key-performance indicators (KPIs)
- Ability to perform and interpret research of respective regulations
- Ability to analyze billing, financial, and operational data in to identify revenue cycle opportunities and risks
- Experience working within health care organizations
- Strong customer service focus
- High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office suite products; data management skills preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work alone and also as a team.
