About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage, direct and monitor multiple client engagements
Schedule and coordinate workflow and staffing for financial audit projects and engagements
Maintain active communication with clients to manage expectations, ensure satisfaction, and lead change efforts effectively
Consult, work with, and service client base to make recommendations on business improvement and process improvement and serve as a business advisor to client
Work with principals and senior managers on proposals and business development activities
Assist with and/or participate in board presentations
Understand and manage firm risk on audits and proposals
Manage, develop, train, and mentor staff on projects and assess performance for engagement and performance meetings
Participate in recruiting talent to the firm
Supervise and develop talent on our team
Attend professional development, networking events and training seminars when required
Have experience performing Uniform Guidance Compliance audits.

Requirements

What you’ll need

CPA License
Minimum 5+ years of progressive public accounting experience
Highly evolved analytical and problem solving ability
Proven supervisory and training success
Excellent analytical, technical, and auditing skills, rules and standards
The ability to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, interactive, results-based team environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal, relationship building and organizational skills.
