About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage, direct and monitor multiple client engagements
  • Schedule and coordinate workflow and staffing for financial audit projects and engagements
  • Maintain active communication with clients to manage expectations, ensure satisfaction, and lead change efforts effectively
  • Consult, work with, and service client base to make recommendations on business improvement and process improvement and serve as a business advisor to client
  • Work with principals and senior managers on proposals and business development activities
  • Assist with and/or participate in board presentations
  • Understand and manage firm risk on audits and proposals
  • Manage, develop, train, and mentor staff on projects and assess performance for engagement and performance meetings
  • Participate in recruiting talent to the firm
  • Supervise and develop talent on our team
  • Attend professional development, networking events and training seminars when required
  • Have experience performing Uniform Guidance Compliance audits.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • CPA License
  • Minimum 5+ years of progressive public accounting experience
  • Highly evolved analytical and problem solving ability
  • Proven supervisory and training success
  • Excellent analytical, technical, and auditing skills, rules and standards
  • The ability to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, interactive, results-based team environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, relationship building and organizational skills.
