About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage, direct and monitor multiple client engagements
- Schedule and coordinate workflow and staffing for financial audit projects and engagements
- Maintain active communication with clients to manage expectations, ensure satisfaction, and lead change efforts effectively
- Consult, work with, and service client base to make recommendations on business improvement and process improvement and serve as a business advisor to client
- Work with principals and senior managers on proposals and business development activities
- Assist with and/or participate in board presentations
- Understand and manage firm risk on audits and proposals
- Manage, develop, train, and mentor staff on projects and assess performance for engagement and performance meetings
- Participate in recruiting talent to the firm
- Supervise and develop talent on our team
- Attend professional development, networking events and training seminars when required
- Have experience performing Uniform Guidance Compliance audits.
Requirements
What you’ll need- CPA License
- Minimum 5+ years of progressive public accounting experience
- Highly evolved analytical and problem solving ability
- Proven supervisory and training success
- Excellent analytical, technical, and auditing skills, rules and standards
- The ability to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, interactive, results-based team environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal, relationship building and organizational skills.
