About the role
- Gain comprehensive understanding of client operations, processes, and business objectives and utilize that knowledge on engagements.
- Oversee, assist and review our professional team in preparing workpapers, financial statements (GAAP basis – non-disclosure) and preparing engagement correspondence.
- Prepare complex workpapers and financial statements.
- Develop and maintain a great working relationship with clients to enhance customer satisfaction and work with client management and staff at all levels to perform outsourced accounting.
- Lead team members to ensure we complete project components and assignment tasks.
- Maintain expertise of accounting software, trends, technology to be able to train internal team and external clients.
- Actively participate in meetings as a member of the outsourced accounting team.
- Train, and mentor staff and interns on outsourced accounting processes and procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years relevant experience
- Minimum BA/BS degree in Accounting
- A strong understanding of accounting concepts and business acumen
- Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, interactive, results-based team environment
- Ability to pick up new technology and software quickly
- Team player with a positive approach
- Creative problem-solving ability
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
