About the role

  • Perform activities related to the critical analysis, curation, and adaptation of Portuguese language content.
  • Issue technical assessments and provide feedback to authors and third parties, suggesting, requesting, and making adjustments to printed and digital materials.
  • Ensure the conceptual, didactic, and methodological correctness of educational solutions to guarantee theoretical and pedagogical quality and compliance with the institution's educational guidelines.
  • Conduct data collection and analysis.
  • Liaise with other areas of production.
  • Participate in and contribute to technical meetings.
  • Contribute to training activities.
  • Stay up to date on market trends, methodologies, and educational technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree completed in Letters/Portuguese (Bachelor's or Teaching degree/licenciate).
  • Prior experience in authorship, teaching, or working at publishing houses is desirable.
  • Experience with editorial workflows.
  • Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of the BNCC (National Common Curricular Base), the stages of Basic Education, and the main regulatory reference frameworks.
  • Knowledge of teaching and learning methodologies.
