About the role
- Create standard manuals for projects, ensuring Bernoulli’s quality and standards.
- Equations and formulas – develop and apply equations and fractions according to the technical standards of each exact-science discipline (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology), using the available tool (MathType) to produce the necessary equations and standardize them for each segment.
- Review each digital asset, taking responsibility for quality and for the functionality of interactive elements.
- Create visual proposals for digital materials (books, websites, image- and video-based questions), arranging and organizing graphic elements in the layout—such as text, photos, illustrations, charts and infographics—while respecting the graphic design standards and visual identity specifications to ensure legibility, organization and visual appeal of the material.
- Perform photo editing to improve the technical quality of images; develop charts and tables and visually and technically standardize graphic elements to ensure good legibility of printed materials for students and teachers.
- Transcribe text that is provided as images, converting it into editable format to improve readability, support student learning and maintain visual and aesthetic consistency across materials.
- Analyze guidelines and documentation from the subject areas for each publication; assemble layouts and implement corrections from proofreading, the pedagogical analyst and the author, building creative pages and adjusting them according to the visual concept of each publication to engage students, ensure editorial and pedagogical standards, and support learning through visual organization.
- Design pages for each publication by determining the best composition for each segment/collection, organizing graphic elements—such as text, photos, illustrations, charts, maps and infographics—and adhering to the technical standards of each collection’s graphic design to guarantee legibility, organization and visual attractiveness of every page.
Requirements
- Completed or in-progress higher education: Graphic Design and/or related fields
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
- Proficiency in the Adobe suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, Bridge)
- Knowledge of Adobe InDesign
- Knowledge of MathType is a plus
