About the role

  • Test management with Azure Test Plans: Create, organize, and execute detailed test plans and suites, ensuring full traceability between requirements and defects.
  • Quality Assurance (Manual): Plan and execute rigorous manual tests on web systems, ensuring no critical defects reach production.
  • Strategic Automation: Develop and maintain automation scripts (E2E and API) using Playwright with TypeScript (intermediate level) and manage technical test collections via Postman to optimize regression.
  • AI-accelerated testing: Use Amazon Q as a partner for generating large datasets, assisting in writing test scripts, and rapid log analysis.
  • Performance culture: Run basic load and stress tests using K6 to ensure the application handles traffic spikes.
  • Lifecycle (Azure): Manage defects, requirements, and test integration within the Azure DevOps ecosystem.

Requirements

  • Solid experience in manual testing, writing test cases, and test plans.
  • Business acumen: Technical experience combined with a strong critical perspective on the user journey.
  • Mindset focused on error prevention and anticipating business issues.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Playwright with TypeScript or related tools (ability to create and maintain automated test suites).
  • Experience with Azure DevOps or similar platforms (managing Boards, configuring Pipelines, and version control in Repos).
  • ISTQB certification: Hold a CTFL (Foundation Level) or higher.
  • Use of AI: Previous experience using Amazon Q or AI assistants to improve testing productivity.
  • Basic knowledge of performance testing with K6 (running scripts and interpreting results).
