About the role
- Create standard manuals for projects — ensure Bernoulli's standards and quality.
- Equations and formulas — develop and apply equations and fractions according to the technical standards of each exact-science discipline (Physics, Chemistry, Math, and Biology), using the available tool (MathType) to produce the necessary equations and standardize them for each segment.
- Review each digital material/item, taking responsibility for quality and the functionality of interactive elements.
- Create the visual concept for digital pieces (books, websites, image- and video-based questions), arranging and organizing graphic elements—texts, photos, illustrations, charts, infographics—according to the graphic design standards and visual identity specifications, aiming for legibility, organization, and visual appeal of the book.
- Perform photo editing to improve the technical quality of images; develop charts and tables, standardizing graphic elements visually and technically to ensure good legibility of printed materials for students and teachers.
- Transcribe texts provided as images into editable format to improve content readability, ensuring student learning and the visual and aesthetic unity of the material.
- Analyze guidelines and documents from each publication area; carry out assembly, layout, and corrections from proofreading, the pedagogical analyst, and the author—creating creative pages and adjusting them according to the visual concept of each publication to engage students, ensure editorial and pedagogical standards, and support learning through the publication’s visual organization.
- Design pages for each publication, determining the best composition for each segment/collection; organize graphic elements—text, photos, illustrations, charts, maps, and infographics—following the technical standards of each collection’s graphic project to guarantee legibility, organization, and visual appeal of every page.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree completed or in progress: Graphic Design and/or related fields;
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel);
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, Bridge);
- Knowledge of Adobe InDesign;
- Knowledge of MathType is desirable.
