About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee all aspects of the implementation of the Contract for a Delivery Project, or a portion of a IS Delivery Project
- Manage the financial aspects of the Project, Subcontractors / Vendors, Client relationships
- Maintain a safe and secure work environment through active participation in site planning, Safety Plan review, JHA approvals, on-site tool box talks and conducting site walks with the Lead Construction Manager
- Manage the Project Budget and understand and execute the management of the Contract delivery type - Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP), Lump Sum, or Concession Agreement
- Negotiate and prepare vendor purchase orders and subcontracts in a timely manner to support the project schedule milestones
- Lead in the Hand-off meeting from Development that establishes project goals, parameters and client expectations
- Ensure accurate, timely and pertinent monthly project reports and cost reviews with project leadership utilizing current information from the Job Management and Accounting Platforms
- Communicate and manage mitigations plans for all Risk Log items with project leadership.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4 Year Degree in Construction Management, applicable Engineering OR applicable field experience
- 8+ years of experience
- Effective presentation, verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrates leadership skills and has the willingness to address challenges, resolve issues, and motivate others while maintaining relationships
- Influences outcomes by being resourceful and maintaining focus on safety, financial performance and client expectations.
- Ability to multitask and willing to perform additional duties as necessary.
