About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee all aspects of the implementation of the Contract for a Delivery Project, or a portion of a IS Delivery Project
Manage the financial aspects of the Project, Subcontractors / Vendors, Client relationships
Maintain a safe and secure work environment through active participation in site planning, Safety Plan review, JHA approvals, on-site tool box talks and conducting site walks with the Lead Construction Manager
Manage the Project Budget and understand and execute the management of the Contract delivery type - Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP), Lump Sum, or Concession Agreement
Negotiate and prepare vendor purchase orders and subcontracts in a timely manner to support the project schedule milestones
Lead in the Hand-off meeting from Development that establishes project goals, parameters and client expectations
Ensure accurate, timely and pertinent monthly project reports and cost reviews with project leadership utilizing current information from the Job Management and Accounting Platforms
Communicate and manage mitigations plans for all Risk Log items with project leadership.

Requirements

What you’ll need

4 Year Degree in Construction Management, applicable Engineering OR applicable field experience
8+ years of experience
Effective presentation, verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrates leadership skills and has the willingness to address challenges, resolve issues, and motivate others while maintaining relationships
Influences outcomes by being resourceful and maintaining focus on safety, financial performance and client expectations.
Ability to multitask and willing to perform additional duties as necessary.
