About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Works in collaboration with the Vice Presidents, IS Delivery to implement strategic goals.
- Reports directly to the Senior Vice President, IS Delivery Region.
- Enforces consistent company policies and procedures across all field operations.
- Collaborates with executive leadership to align field operations with strategic vision.
- Provides expertise to project teams in planning and resource allocation.
- Champions a culture of safety, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
- Monitors safety performance metrics and leads initiatives to achieve zero-incident goals.
- Reviews field operations to ensure projects are delivered on time and to client specifications.
- Drives operational efficiency by implementing standardized processes and optimizing workflows.
- Ensures seamless coordination between project managers and field teams.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related area.
- Minimum 15 years' experience in managing large, complex commercial construction projects, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of success facilitating progressive organizational change and development within a growing organization.
- Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills including negotiation and conflict resolution.
- Strong mentoring, coaching experience to a team with diverse levels of expertise.
- Superior management skills; ability to influence and engage direct and indirect reports and peers.
- Self-reliant, good problem-solver, results oriented.
- Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
