About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Be a trusted advisor to the C-Suites of the companies largest customers of over $2MM annually and over 1MM square feet.
  • Effectively and efficiently manage 5-7 key accounts.
  • Source and contact potential clients weekly, documenting and reporting findings accurately, thoroughly and timely.
  • Maintain and update CRM software regularly.
  • Work with other team members to generate additional work for Services.
  • Create and maintain higher profit margins for both maintenance and project work.
  • Participate in relevant training provided by and outside of the company.
  • Determine customer needs, estimate all sourced work, suggest upgrades, develop and present solutions based on the Company service offerings.
  • Monitor, report, meet or exceed sales plan goals.
  • Develop and maintain an active proposal backlog to support achieving designed sales plan.
  • Develop long-term relationships to create brand loyalty.
  • Educate clients and persuade sales by thoroughly learning the company's service offerings.
  • Assist team in creating and executing a successful sales strategy.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must have ten (10) years' experience in HVAC, Mechanical or related sales, selling owner-direct projects and maintenance agreements.
  • Proven track record of repeatedly exceeding established sales goals of over $5MM annually.
  • Proven track record of account management and retention.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to provide innovative ideas for excellent customer care.
  • Organized and self-motivated with the ability to source leads, make cold calls, follow up calls and visit potential clients.
  • Professional manner and appearance.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Versed in the industry and the Company's competitors.
  • Ability to multitask and perform duties outside of the scope of work when necessary.
