About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage a team of commissioning agents and technicians to execute multiple commissioning projects concurrently.
Provide leadership and oversight to ensure the commissioning scope of work is executed efficiently and accurately.
Coordinate with clients, external resources, and internal team members to ensure accurate documentation and communication.
Manage incoming project information and distribute to commissioning agents and technicians.
Develop and track project talent resources and metrics to ensure timely, on-budget delivery.
Establish process for frequent tracking and reporting project status.
Ensure all communications from team members to client representatives, contractors, and outside consultants are documented.
Develop and negotiate commissioning fee proposals for new projects.
Manage resource utilization on multiple projects to meet financial targets.
Provide training and mentoring to team members.
Interact with owners and clients to manage expectations and assist in development and marketing of new opportunities.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Associate or Bachelor degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field
A minimum of 10 years of commissioning or related experience with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, automatic temperature control systems, or building operation management experience.
Commissioning Certification (e.g. NEBB, ACG, BCxA, ASHRAE, etc.)
Proficient in using software to accomplish work tasks such as Microsoft Word, Excel and online commissioning software such as CxAlloy.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.
Versed in the industry and the Company's competitors.
Ability to multitask and perform duties outside of the scope of work when necessary.
