About the role
- Determine customer needs and develop/estimate project solutions for HVAC and Controls
- Meet or exceed sales objectives
- Develop multi-layer customer relationships
- Create a backlog of work to support short and long-term goals
- Be a trusted advisor to major customers
- Manage key accounts effectively
- Source and contact potential clients weekly
- Update CRM software regularly
- Work with team members to generate additional work for services
- Suggest upgrades and develop/present solutions
Requirements
- Must have ten (10) years' experience in HVAC, Mechanical or related sales
- Proven track record of repeatedly exceeding established sales goals of over $5MM annually
- Proven track record of account management and retention
- Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Innovative ideas for excellent customer care
- Organized and self-motivated
- Ability to source leads, make cold calls, follow up calls and visit potential clients
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment
- Versed in the industry and the Company's competitors
- Ability to multitask and perform duties outside of the scope of work when necessary
