About the role
- Design mechanical systems, components, or assemblies using engineering principles
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to create unique high-level concepts and designs
- Conduct field surveys to identify existing equipment types and system capabilities
- Produce design documents including drawings, system flow diagrams, and architecture
Requirements
- Associate degree in HVAC Technology, Building Systems Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- 1-2 years' experience with building construction, especially mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or automatic temperature controls
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT
- Strong technical skills
