About the role
- Design structures, products, components, or assemblies using engineering and architectural principles
- Work closely with project managers to create unique high-level concepts and designs for all assigned projects
- Collaborate with the creative team to ensure the successful execution of goals of all assigned projects
- Deliver concepts and designs according to strict project deadlines
- Contribute to all areas of the creative process and department
- Perform work under direct supervision
- Handle basic issues and problems, and refer more complex issues to higher-level staff
Requirements
- Associate's degree in HVAC Technology, Building Systems Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- 1-2 years' experience with building construction, especially mechanical, electrical, plumbing, automatic temperature control systems, and/or testing, adjusting, and balancing
- 0-2 years' design experience
- Strong technical skills
- Effective oral and written communications skills
- Vision and Creativity
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Planning skills
- Possesses beginning to working knowledge of the subject matter
- Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent multitasking skills
