About the role
- Responsible for standard engineering techniques to design, analyze, test, maintain, repair, or improve products, components, or assemblies
- Overseeing the evaluation and optimization of energy consumption for commercial buildings
- Frequently interact with the entire team including leadership
- Analyzes, develops and evaluates systems
- Improves and maintains current systems or creates brand new projects
- Designs and drafts blueprints, visits systems in the field and manages projects
- Oversees the collection, compilation, organization, and analysis of utility consumption data and rates
- Reviews utility invoices for errors
- Oversees the development and implementation of IPVMP - Adherent Measurement and Verification (M&V) Plans
- Oversees the development of engineering-based energy models to simulate operations of buildings or systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- 10+ Years of Experience in a related field
- Advanced knowledge of commercial HVAC systems
- Experience with energy savings projects
- Experience with life cycle cost analyses
- At least 1 of the following: CEM, CMVP, CEP, CEA, EEP, or BEP certifications through the Association of Energy Engineers or equivalent
- Experience in analyzing utility data
- Registered Professional Engineer
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in other Microsoft applications.
