About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Deliver lessons in accordance with Berlitz teaching principles, focusing on students’ goals, needs, and interests
Conduct level assessments and needs analyses
Teach private and group students at the Learning Center, offsite locations, or virtually
Meet regularly with the Academic Specialist for lesson evaluation and coaching
Complete assigned training and professional development modules
Maintain up-to-date student pedagogical and attendance records
Integrate learning technology into teaching programs
Maintain shared teaching resource materials
Perform other duties delegated by the Service Delivery Manager or Academic Specialist
Provide student support in accordance with Berlitz teaching and customer service principles

Requirements

What you’ll need

Eligible to work in the US
Four-year college/university degree or equivalent
Fluent in the language(s) to teach
Native fluency in the required language
Exceptional communication skills in both English and the native language
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Flexibility in working hours
Ability to take initiative and work independently
Availability during the day to teach virtual students
Comfortable working in a diverse environment
Ability to talk or hear and regularly stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms, and occasionally exert up to 10 pounds of force
Casual employment; experienced candidates sought
