About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the full employee lifecycle in Germany - from seamless onboarding to smooth offboarding - ensuring every experience is high-quality and consistent
- Manage payroll, benefits and core HR operations for Germany with precision and reliability
- Ensure full compliance with German employment law and stay ahead of regulatory changes
- Help redefine how People Ops works by leveraging AI, automation and modern tooling to drive efficiency and better decision-making
- Act as the go-to expert for employees and managers on all Germany-specific HR matters
- Establish strong data foundations- ensuring accuracy, accessibility and actionable insight across all people data
- Be part of the implementation of our new global HRIS tool and contribute to other global People projects
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5-7 years of experience in HR/People Operations in Germany, with deep knowledge of the German employment landscape
- A builder mentality- you are excited about creating structure where none exists and don't wait to be told what to do
- Curiosity about and experience with AI tools and automation in an HR context
- Fluent in German and English
- Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms; bonus points if you have been part of an implementation or migration
- Strong understanding of German payroll, benefits and employment law frameworks
