You will be responsible for developing, strategically steering and further advancing a company-wide quality management system — cross-departmental, integrative and future-oriented.
You will manage and further develop internal audits, assessments and management reviews based on established maturity models — including tracking of actions and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
You will lead the company-wide production boards for cross-departmental operational control of buses, U‑Bahn (subway/metro), trams, infrastructure, procurement and logistics.
You will advise internal and external stakeholders in the areas of quality and process management, occupational safety, fire safety and environmental protection.
Requirements
A technically competent and committed leader with relevant professional and extensive leadership experience in senior strategic and operational roles, and demonstrable success in a similar position.
Completed academic degree (Master/Diploma) in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, etc.); alternatively, equivalent knowledge and skills acquired through several years of professional experience.
Willingness to undergo an extended security clearance (Ü2) according to the Berlin Security Clearance Act (BSÜG) is a mandatory requirement.
Experience managing complex corporate structures and working with employee representatives, as well as the ability to quickly and confidently grasp complex issues and contexts, combined with operational, entrepreneurial and innovative thinking and action.
Strong affinity for public transport (ÖPNV) and a broad understanding of the relevant operational issues of a municipal service provider, with clear visions for the future of urban and rural transport.
Confident stakeholder communication, decisiveness and excellent persuasion and communication skills, an authoritative and professional demeanor, the ability to manage conflicts and intercultural competence.
