About the role

  • Berkshire Hathaway Homestate Companies, Workers Compensation Division, is looking for a mid-level DevOps Engineer. This individual supports the selection, design, implementation, and ongoing operation of the infrastructure environment and resources both on premises and in the Azure cloud. This involves collaborating with other infrastructure staff, development staff, and/or consultants in developing, configuring, maintaining, supporting and optimizing infrastructure systems.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States, without requiring, now or in the future, sponsorship for employment visa status.

Requirements

  • EDUCATION: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field strongly preferred. A combination of equivalent technical certifications and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • CERTIFICATIONS: One or more preferred (or similar, equivalent certification): AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Microsoft Azure Developer Associate, Microsoft DevOps Engineer Expert, Puppet Certified Professional, Docker Certified Associate, Certified Kubernetes Administrator
