About the role
- Learn to evaluate and determine the compensability of workers’ compensation claims in accordance with applicable laws and company policies.
- Support early return-to-work initiatives and ensure timely delivery of benefits.
- Communicate with employers, injured workers, and medical providers to facilitate claim resolution.
- Authorize and monitor medical treatment and coordinate care with providers.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all claim activity.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Comfortable with frequent phone communication and multitasking.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to pass the adjuster licensing exam (we’ll support you through it!).
- Prior experience in insurance, customer service, healthcare, or administrative roles is preferred.
