Work with students in one-on-one or small group sessions to assist with class assignments, improve English proficiency, and build confidence in academic communication.
Explain vocabulary and grammar.
Help students organize and edit written work.
Offer conversational practice.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Current student at Berklee College of Music or Boston Conservatory at Berklee.
Enrolled at least half-time in a degree, diploma, or certificate-seeking undergraduate or graduate program.
Have a valid United States Social Security Number (SSN).
Remain in “valid” Visa status as applicable.
A minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA.
In good disciplinary standing.
Preference will be given to students who have taken LENG-111 (Intro to College Writing) and made a high grade in the course.
Students who completed the ESL course sequence and/or the MEIP course sequence at Berklee are encouraged to apply.
