About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Analyze historical and projected financial information.
  • Develop detailed financial models to value companies and complex securities.
  • Direct junior staff in developing detailed financial models to value companies and investments.
  • Efficiently manage the aggregation and organization of large data sets in Microsoft Excel.
  • Leverage financial and market data software platforms such as Capital IQ and Bloomberg.
  • Present thorough valuation analyses to our clients consistent with the scope of the projects.
  • Experience with Option Pricing Models (Black Scholes) and/or Monte Carlo simulation is preferred.
  • Consistently meet client deadlines and quality expectations.
  • Maintain an organized, methodical and professional demeanor.
  • Take ownership in the work product, including the analyses developed by junior staff.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or other related field of study;
  • Six to eight (6 to 8) years of prior valuation work experience is required, preferably with a national accounting firm or valuation firm;
  • Experience as a key team member leading the development and ultimate completion of client-ready valuation deliverables (or similar client service deliverables);
  • Significant progress toward a ASA designation or similar designation will be looked upon favorably.
  • Candidate must be able to submit verification of his/her legal right to work in the U.S., without company sponsorship.
