About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Analyze historical and projected financial information.
Develop detailed financial models to value companies and complex securities.
Direct junior staff in developing detailed financial models to value companies and investments.
Efficiently manage the aggregation and organization of large data sets in Microsoft Excel.
Leverage financial and market data software platforms such as Capital IQ and Bloomberg.
Present thorough valuation analyses to our clients consistent with the scope of the projects.
Experience with Option Pricing Models (Black Scholes) and/or Monte Carlo simulation is preferred.
Consistently meet client deadlines and quality expectations.
Maintain an organized, methodical and professional demeanor.
Take ownership in the work product, including the analyses developed by junior staff.

Requirements

What you’ll need

A Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or other related field of study;
Six to eight (6 to 8) years of prior valuation work experience is required, preferably with a national accounting firm or valuation firm;
Experience as a key team member leading the development and ultimate completion of client-ready valuation deliverables (or similar client service deliverables);
Significant progress toward a ASA designation or similar designation will be looked upon favorably.
Candidate must be able to submit verification of his/her legal right to work in the U.S., without company sponsorship.
