About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyze historical and projected financial information.
- Develop detailed financial models to value companies and complex securities.
- Direct junior staff in developing detailed financial models to value companies and investments.
- Efficiently manage the aggregation and organization of large data sets in Microsoft Excel.
- Leverage financial and market data software platforms such as Capital IQ and Bloomberg.
- Present thorough valuation analyses to our clients consistent with the scope of the projects.
- Experience with Option Pricing Models (Black Scholes) and/or Monte Carlo simulation is preferred.
- Consistently meet client deadlines and quality expectations.
- Maintain an organized, methodical and professional demeanor.
- Take ownership in the work product, including the analyses developed by junior staff.

Requirements
What you’ll need- A Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or other related field of study;
- Five to seven (5 to 7) years of prior valuation work experience is required, preferably with a national accounting firm or valuation firm;
- Experience as a key team member leading the development and ultimate completion of client-ready valuation deliverables (or similar client service deliverables);
- Significant progress toward a ASA designation or similar designation will be looked upon favorably.
- Candidate must be able to submit verification of his/her legal right to work in the U.S., without company sponsorship.
