About the role
- Perform all procurement-related tasks to acquire the materials required for our production and internal needs
- Monitor supplier performance (on-time delivery, quality, lead times) and resolve performance issues
- Handle complaints, returns and outsourced manufacturing
- Select suitable suppliers
- Negotiate prices and commercial terms
- Continuously prepare and maintain master data in our inventory/ERP system
Requirements
- Completed commercial or technical vocational training
- Professional experience in operational purchasing or a comparable role
- Enjoy working in a motivated team, strong organizational skills and a high level of problem-solving ability
- Negotiation skills and assertiveness
- Independent, responsible and structured way of working
- Good MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) as well as experience with SAP or other ERP systems
- Good written and spoken German and English
