About the role
- Support investigations of contaminated sites (soil and groundwater)
- Perform soil mapping and investigations of building materials and ground conditions
- Conduct field and sampling work (e.g., exploratory drilling, core drilling and material sampling of structures)
- Collect groundwater, leachate and industrial wastewater samples
- Carry out field measurements/tests such as landfill gas monitoring, plate load tests and densitometer measurements
- Record field observations and, where applicable, enter data into the relevant software systems
- Maintain and service technical equipment, the workshop and vehicles
Requirements
- Completed vocational training in a trade or natural sciences field, or an equivalent qualification
- Technical aptitude
- Willingness to participate in multi-day field assignments
- Ability to work in adverse weather conditions
- Valid driver's license (Category B) required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of commitment
- Initiative, flexibility and reliability
