About the role
- Management and expansion of our customer base
- Acquisition of new customers within your sales territory
- Conducting sales and consulting meetings at customer sites
- Preparation of quotations and negotiation through to contract conclusion
- Market and competitor monitoring
- Participation in trade fairs and sales events
- Close collaboration with our internal sales support team and other internal interfaces
- Maintenance of customer data in the CRM system
Requirements
- Completed technical or commercial training (e.g., technician with a specialization in automation technology, industrial clerk, or equivalent)
- Technical understanding and interest in technically complex products
- Experience in sales or customer-facing roles is an advantage
- Independent, structured working style combined with teamwork and strong communication skills
- Strong initiative, commitment, and goal- and results-oriented approach
- Commercial awareness and flexibility in everyday work
- Good German and English skills, both written and spoken
- Confident use of MS Office 365 and experience with CRM systems (ideally Salesforce)
- Knowledge of SAP and, ideally, CODESYS V3
