About the role

  • Software development as a Full Stack Developer (GUI and interface development, database programming, alignment of software architecture, adherence to coding standards)
  • Developing solution options to implement customer requirements and resolve issues
  • Designing and implementing manual and automated tests
  • Point of contact for customers on technical and domain-specific matters
  • Software support (database structure, IT administration, documentation)
  • Software deployment (planning and assembling customer-specific release packages)
  • Evaluating and assessing new technologies for use in the development process or product
  • Supporting the team’s operational organization and ensuring internal process workflows
  • Organizing and coordinating the development team (e.g., planning, coordination, prioritization of tasks)

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science (e.g., Applied or Technical Computer Science, Business Informatics) or a technical apprenticeship with further training as an IT specialist
  • Required programming knowledge: C#, HTML, JavaScript, Microsoft SQL
  • Desirable knowledge: Blazor, test automation, DevOps, IT administration (e.g., VMware)
  • Knowledge of agile software development
  • Experience with software management and version control
  • Experience in team coordination is an advantage
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office (Teams, Outlook, etc.)
  • Enjoy interacting with customers / open and friendly demeanor
  • Strong analytical skills and quick comprehension of problems
  • Independent, result-oriented and reliable working style
  • Willingness to support the on-call support team when required
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (within Germany and abroad)
  • Flexibility with changing tasks
  • Good written and spoken English
