About the role
- Independently perform incoming and outgoing goods inspections as well as in-process production tests
- Implement quality-assuring measures in manufacturing processes
- Create and update test documents/specifications and test certificates
- Process customer and supplier complaints
- Prepare 8D reports; initiate necessary corrective actions and verify their effectiveness
- Manage retained samples and quarantine stock
- Provide and document samples for customer inquiries
- Conduct initial sample inspections (EMPB and PPAP)
- Determine, analyze and document key performance indicators
- Contribute to process improvements (continuous improvement/Kaizen)
Requirements
- Completed technical or scientific vocational training, ideally with further qualification in quality management
- Knowledge of relevant standards such as ISO 9001 and IATF 16949
- Experience with quality management methods such as 5-Why, Ishikawa, 8D and FMEA
- Knowledge of SAP R/3 is an advantage
- Confident user of common MS Office applications
- Technical (process) understanding and analytical skills
- Independent, conscientious and reliable working style
- Strong commitment to quality and sense of responsibility
- Organizational skills and initiative
- Team player with strong communication skills
- Good written and spoken German and English
