About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Monitor company projects in the field and ensure installations meet company standards and project specifications
- Assist Foremen with job planning, material and manpower ordering, and labor scheduling
- Review labor efficiencies, hours, ratios, and projected labor needs
- Track material costs, storage, consumption, and orders to minimize overruns
- Prepare, review, distribute, and maintain installation documentation
- Ensure company policies and guidelines are followed
- Coordinate with the Inspection Department, inspectors, and utility companies for job completion
- Monitor and address safety hazards and potential problems
- Maintain communication with General Contractors, Foremen, site management, employers, Project Managers, and customers
- Provide technical support and monitor codes, specifications, and installation methods
- Attend project meetings and address installation concerns
- Visit job sites to inspect installation methods and quality of work
- Promote a positive customer service environment and work climate
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience and knowledge in electrical construction, design, and cost management as a Superintendent or similar role
- Experience in commercial, institutional, and industrial environments
- Thorough knowledge of construction technology, equipment, and methods
- Mid- to high-rise building and/or high-end hotel project experience is a plus
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Professional presentation and ability to represent the company image
- Demonstrated leadership and project success
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Advanced ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
- In-depth knowledge of NFPA codes
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to use ladders, man lifts, or reach booms
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform full squats, stooping, or kneeling
