Area Sales Manager – On-Trade
Berentzen-Gruppe AGArea Sales Manager responsible for the On-Trade development in Köln with Berentzen-Vivaris. Focused on winning new clients and strengthening existing relationships in the gastronomy sector.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- As a newly created position, you have the opportunity to actively establish and sustainably develop the On-Trade area in Cologne
- Acquire new gastronomy accounts and strategically develop existing partners
- Increase visibility of our brands and present them in a premium, drink-relevant way at the POS and behind the bar
- Confidently negotiate listings, loan/bar equipment and supply agreements on equal terms
- Implement high-impact sales activations: signature drinks/menu placements/event & scene concepts
- Know your territory, analyze potential and manage your activities clearly and effectively
- Accurately record agreements, promotions and developments in the CRM system as the basis for growth
- Act as the entrepreneurial face of our brands and take responsibility for the sustainable build-up and expansion of the On-Trade business in Cologne
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed commercial vocational training
- Experience in On-Trade/gastronomy sales
- Background in the gastronomy or nightlife/scene sector with a sales drive and entrepreneurial mindset is an advantage
- You understand how gastronomy works: emotion, costing, pace
- Very good knowledge of the structures within the GFGH/gastronomy sector as well as of our products
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a customer-oriented approach
- Negotiation skills combined with solid knowledge of sales techniques
- High level of commitment and flexibility, friendly and confident appearance
- Independent, structured and goal-oriented way of working
- Residence within the designated territory
