About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and implement all aspects of the global medical strategy for one or more assigned BeOne Hematology assets
  • Lead and ensure execution of all programs and functions associated with the assigned Hematology programs
  • Collaborate with colleagues from clinical development and commercial for launch preparation and execution
  • Apply scientific rigor and data-driven approaches to evidence generation and insight synthesis
  • Contribute to and/or co-lead the cross-functional Global Medical Team for Hematology
  • Develop and maintain interactions and collaborations with therapeutic experts and scientific entities
  • Ensure the cascading and understanding of the global medical plans by medical teams in all regions and countries
  • Work closely with internal teams seeking medical input into drug- or non-drug-related projects and strategic planning

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Advanced Scientific degree: MD, PhD, PharmD or PA/NP
  • 8+ years in the pharmaceutical industry, in local or global medical role(s)
  • Global experience required
  • Experience developing and executing medical plans/tactics
  • Previous launch experience for at least one hematology or oncology drug
  • Strong knowledge of the overall drug development process
  • Experience in development and implementation of clinical trials
  • Track record of organizing and leading medical and/or development Advisory board
  • Experience in writing clinical presentations and publications
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Experience operating and collaborating successfully in a matrix and multicultural environment
  • Solid business acumen & understanding of evidence requirements for access/ payers
  • Proven track record of successful time management & prioritization
  • Solid knowledge of budget management
  • Travel up to 25%.
