About the role

  • Define and lead a compelling vision for advanced analytics, data science, and AI
  • Build, inspire, and scale a high-performing analytics organization
  • Champion a culture of innovation, accountability, and data-driven decision-making
  • Design and deploy sophisticated analytics frameworks including segmentation, predictive modeling, promotional response, risk assessment, and patient journey analytics
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to commercial leadership
  • Partner closely with leaders across marketing, market access/HEOR, clinical, regulatory, finance, and sales
  • Lead the adoption and scaling of machine learning, AI, and GenAI analytical solutions
  • Build strong relationships with external partners, vendors, and key opinion leaders
  • Recruit, mentor, and retain top analytics and data science talent

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in commercial analytics
  • 5+ years leading data science and AI/ML initiatives within healthcare or life sciences
  • 7+ years of leadership experience building, scaling, and leading high-performing analytics teams in biotech or pharmaceutical environments
  • Deep, hands-on expertise in data science, machine learning, statistical modeling
  • Demonstrated experience implementing and scaling generative and agentic AI analytical solutions in real-world business settings
  • Strong business acumen with a track record of translating advanced analytics into strategic and operational impact
  • Exceptional leadership capabilities, with a passion for coaching, developing, and inspiring talent (direct and indirect)
  • Excellent communication and influence skills, with the ability to drive change, align stakeholders, and articulate a compelling analytics and data science vision.
