About the role

  • Manage a team of customer-facing sales consultants to drive sales performance in the assigned territory
  • Manage territory-specific business and sales targets
  • Support achievement of the country and district commercial targets and meet defined performance parameters
  • Monitor team performance KPIs and provide appropriate support so individual and team objectives can be achieved
  • Partner with the Market Access team to gather relevant insights and develop the commercial strategy to ensure proposals align with customer needs and patient access
  • Prepare the commercial market (customers, HCPs, accounts) for standardization of BeiGene products and/or new indications for already marketed products
  • Work in full synergy with internal company functions, fostering a cross-functional culture with Medical (MSLs), Marketing, and Market Access
  • Implement marketing strategies for current and future launches in oncology and onco-hematology markets
  • Recruit, train, and structure a capable commercial field team
  • Plan and monitor the budget for the Customer-Facing Commercial Team
  • Set baseline sales targets and perform commercial analysis of the markets
  • Assess development needs/areas for growth of your team and execute individualized development programs, training, and coaching
  • Build brand image and awareness for BeiGene and its products in hemato-oncology markets
  • Establish strong, forward-looking relationships and collaborations with key opinion leaders (KOLs), medical societies, and key accounts
  • Monitor the development and implementation of sales and commercial plans for the Customer-Facing Sales team
  • Work closely with Marketing to establish, measure, and exceed field force effectiveness standards
  • Lead by example, promoting an environment that drives high performance, engagement, accountability, empowerment, and behaviors fully consistent with BeiGene’s values and culture
  • Keep leadership informed of any market changes/competitor activities relevant to strategy implementation and development
  • Foster a modern leadership culture that attracts, develops, and retains talent, creates effective internal communication, and encourages teamwork
  • Build strong relationships and represent BeiGene to all customers and stakeholders, supporting the organization in achieving its goals and objectives
  • Make business decisions with patient care at the center of commercial conduct
  • Ensure team compliance across all areas to maintain the highest standards of ethical conduct focused on patients and aligned with our values
  • Consistently ensure operations comply with BeiGene Standards of Conduct and all applicable local laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in science, business, or equivalent minimum
  • At least 10 years of industry experience, with a minimum of 5 years in commercial roles and people management
  • Demonstrated success in fast-growing, entrepreneurial commercial environments
  • Specific knowledge of the oncology and hematology market
  • Proven successful oversight of commercial teams
  • High social competence and strong teamwork skills
  • Highly motivated, solution-oriented with a positive attitude
  • Success-, service-, and sales-oriented mindset
  • Exceptional communication and thought leadership
  • Excellent knowledge in hemato-oncology is required
  • Strong, reliable contacts with key hematologists and opinion leaders in hematology centers and regional distributors
  • Results-driven with strong implementation skills
  • Strategic and results-oriented
  • High motivation, solution focus, and positive attitude
  • Self-starter who gets things done; strong implementation skills, persistent innovation, and willingness to challenge the status quo

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Intermediate English desirable.
