About the role
- Establish, manage and improve all aspects of purchasing services and products
- Support CMO and Packaging Categories with collaboration of cross-functional teams
- Lead cross-functional teams in evaluating and selecting CMOs for a project
- Partner with key global stakeholders from Supply Chain, Packaging, CMC manufacturing and Quality
- Lead contract negotiation of Master service agreement, Statement Work, or Supplier Proposals
- Create risk mitigation strategy documents pertaining to N level CMO / supplier
- Ensure that the relationship between BeiGene and the CMO/partner is healthy
- Drive continuous improvement of the business relationship with CMOs and sub-suppliers
- Conduct high quality data analytics; generate on time routine reports regarding supplier performance metrics
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with Majors in Business, Supply Chain, Chemistry, Biologics, Engineering
- Minimum 8+ years procurement relevant working experience
- Good computer MS office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with main ERP systems (SAP, Ariba, Agiloft)
- Experience with analytical software tools including Power BI, Visual, etc.
- Proficiency in English writing and speaking especially in contractual languages
- 2nd language proficiency is a plus, e.g. Mandarin, Spanish
