About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support Beneq’s Semiconductor ALD products throughout their lifecycle - from field issue resolution to continuous product improvement and future product development support
  • Act as a technical expert supporting customers, field service engineers, and internal teams
  • Diagnose and resolve complex equipment and process-related issues remotely and on-site
  • Lead and support root cause analysis and product reliability improvement activities
  • Collect and analyze customer and field feedback to identify improvement opportunities
  • Collaborate with R&D and Product Management to enhance product performance and serviceability
  • Participate in failure analysis, FMEA, and corrective action activities
  • Support new product introduction (NPI) and service readiness
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, troubleshooting guides, and training materials
  • Deliver technical support and training for internal teams and customers
  • Support technical discussions, demonstrations, and customer interactions when needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical, chemical, electrical, automation engineering, or another relevant technical field
  • Experience in semiconductor equipment, semiconductor processes, or related high-tech industries
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Customer-focused mindset with a proactive and structured approach to technical challenges
  • Excellent English language skills
  • Willingness to travel globally approximately 70 days per year, including longer customer site visits when needed
