About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Performs quality related testing of all production batches
Conducts batch related quality activities including pre- and post-manufacturing review of production orders
Advises on batch adjustments
Manages quality records and retains
Provides training on the activities of the plant quality control laboratory
Ensures that lab testing provides valid and timely test results while ensuring compliance with corporate quality standards and procedures

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum 2 years of experience required in a quality lab or manufacturing environment
High School Diploma - (2-year higher education certificate in scientific area is a plus)
5 years of experience required in a quality lab or manufacturing environment
Capable of using laboratory equipment including weighing balances, viscometers, pH meters, gloss/sheen meters and spectrophotometers
Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint proficiency
Must be results driven and have strong attention to detail and be highly organized
Must exhibit good verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to train and evaluate lab technicians and operators performing quality functions
