About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Act as a primary point of contact for the team and other business units
Design new products and develop new coverages
Contribute to the design of various commercial products
Advise on integration into the operational system
Participate in the work of various multidisciplinary committees
Draft policy wording clauses and perform appropriate follow-up

Requirements

What you’ll need

Hold a college diploma in general insurance or an equivalent qualification
Have a minimum of 8 years' experience in commercial business insurance underwriting
Experience in commercial underwriting
Knowledge of and relevant experience with E&O (Errors & Omissions) and D&O (Directors & Officers) coverages
Hold the Insurance Professional of Canada (PAA) designation or be in the process of obtaining it
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
