About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct research and participate in the design of various commercial insurance products
- Advise on integration into the operational system and develop standards
- Participate in the work of various multidisciplinary committees
- Ensure that agents and underwriters have the necessary documentation
- Contribute to knowledge sharing among the three property and casualty (P&C) companies
- Participate in activities related to external audits and compliance with applicable regulations
- Draft policy wording clauses and validate them with the Legal Department
- Analyze and draft project requests and oversee project delivery
- Contribute to analyses to monitor legal and regulatory changes
- Support the achievement of the department's objectives and perform any other compatible tasks
Requirements
What you’ll need- College diploma in general insurance or equivalent
- Minimum of 8 years' experience in commercial/corporate insurance underwriting
- Experience in commercial underwriting
- Advanced proficiency in both French and English, spoken and written
- Professional Insurance designation (PAA) or in progress
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
