About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Understand, analyze and formalize the expected functional behavior of solutions based on stated requirements
- Document and maintain long-term, maintainable functional and test scenarios
- Develop the team's testing strategy
- Plan and lead testing activities
- Track tests and defects
- Ensure traceability between functional behaviors, test scenarios, results and defects
- Deploy, collect and analyze relevant quality metrics
- Assess and manage quality risks associated with deliveries
- Implement QA best practices
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of quality
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of six years of relevant experience with a strong operational focus on testing
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience combined with relevant certifications
- Hands-on experience executing, tracking and optimizing testing activities in an Agile context
- Strong awareness of risk management and functional and quality compliance
- Proficiency with test and defect management tools (Jira, Xray)
- Knowledge of test case and scenario design techniques (manual and automated)
- Understanding of automation concepts
- Ability to analyze requirements and identify relevant test scenarios
- Ability to use quality metrics to drive operational decisions
- Experience working in financial services and insurance (an asset)
- Fluent in French, both spoken and written, with functional proficiency in English (an asset)
