Customer Service Agent

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Answer incoming calls from customers related to their policies and technical issues while delivering outstanding customer service
- Resolve customer issues in a timely manner while maintaining service level agreements
- Adjudicate health and wellness claims based on each groups guidelines
- Understand federal and provincial government health related programs to accurately answer requests and/or refer insured to appropriate resources
- Create, maintain and revise customer profiles and history
- Perform necessary research to respond to various requests coming by phone or written correspondence
- Regularly participate in continuous training to maintain and update knowledge
- Interpret customer requests and needs to provide management with suggestions for improvement
Requirements
What you’ll need- Diploma in Business Administration or a related field is an asset
- Have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in customer service and a call center environment
- Experience in the group health and dental insurance field is a strong asset
- Excellent command of both written and oral English and French
- Ability to work under the pressure of key performance indicators
- Availability to work flexible shifts from 8am to 8pm
