About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Answer incoming calls from customers related to their policies and technical issues while delivering outstanding customer service
  • Resolve customer issues in a timely manner while maintaining service level agreements
  • Adjudicate health and wellness claims based on each groups guidelines
  • Understand federal and provincial government health related programs to accurately answer requests and/or refer insured to appropriate resources
  • Create, maintain and revise customer profiles and history
  • Perform necessary research to respond to various requests coming by phone or written correspondence
  • Regularly participate in continuous training to maintain and update knowledge
  • Interpret customer requests and needs to provide management with suggestions for improvement

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Diploma in Business Administration or a related field is an asset
  • Have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in customer service and a call center environment
  • Experience in the group health and dental insurance field is a strong asset
  • Excellent command of both written and oral English and French
  • Ability to work under the pressure of key performance indicators
  • Availability to work flexible shifts from 8am to 8pm
