About the role

  • Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities through outbound calls, email campaigns, and social outreach
  • Qualify inbound leads and convert prospects into customers
  • Conduct discovery calls and virtual product demonstrations to articulate BenefitHub’s value proposition
  • Manage the full sales cycle for small to mid-sized accounts (less than 1,000 employees), from initial contact through close
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM system (e.g., HubSpot)
  • Complete weekly/monthly reports as requested, and develop proficiency in HubSpot outbound automation in support of outreach
  • Collaborate with marketing, account management, legal, and onboarding teams to ensure smooth handoffs
  • Consistently meet or exceed individual sales targets and activity metrics
  • Develop an understanding of BenefitHub’s various offerings, solutions, and technology
  • Responsible for cross selling existing clients, transitioning from the current legacy BenefitHub platform to our new SMB based BenefitHub Premier offering
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitive offerings, and BenefitHub product updates

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of inside sales, business development, or related new account acquisition experience (B2B preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, or relevant domain
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively in web demos and presentations to multiple functional levels of management
  • Ability to build rapport quickly and uncover customer needs
  • Comfortable with outbound prospecting and objection handling
  • Experience using CRM and sales engagement tools
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a high-volume pipeline while working on multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Highly organized with strong time- and contact-management skills
  • Self-motivated, coachable, and results-driven
  • Experience selling SaaS, HR technology, benefits, or employee engagement solutions (preferred)
  • Benefits, HR and Insurance experience (preferred)
  • Familiarity with selling to HR, benefits, or executive stakeholders (preferred)
  • Remote sales experience (preferred)
