About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support and maintain core iPlus applications, investigating issues, implementing fixes, and ensuring services remain stable and reliable
Develop and deliver improvements to existing applications, helping to optimise processes and meet evolving business requirements
Analyse application issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions while minimising business disruption
Work with testing and business teams to ensure changes are thoroughly validated and delivered to a high standard
Work closely with business stakeholders, support teams, and technical colleagues to ensure the continued success of the iPlus platform

Requirements

What you’ll need

Excellent RPG skills
Proficiency in languages commonly used on IBM Power systems, such as RPG and CL
Strong knowledge of RPG, CL and IBM i development practices
Experience diagnosing and resolving issues within complex business-critical applications
Experience with i90/iPlus is advantageous
Familiarity with IBM i tools and technologies, including IBM Navigator for i, job management, performance analysis, and application support activities
