About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Deliver exceptional customer service while managing and prioritising workload, ensuring incidents, requests, and changes are handled and documented correctly.
Provide expert guidance to users, influencing across the organisation and applying knowledge creatively to non‑standard situations.
Maintain and support physical and virtual infrastructure, including hardware, data centres, communication rooms, and coordination with third‑party vendors.
Contribute to business continuity activities, prepare and maintain operational documentation, and participate in the 24/7 infrastructure support rota.
Plan, document, and execute small projects, managing risks, tracking progress, and contributing insights to IT strategy and best practice.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Qualified or working toward qualification in Microsoft core technologies, with proven IT experience in fast‑paced environments.
Broad infrastructure knowledge with skills in areas such as networking, VMware ESX, VoIP, Windows Server, SAN, security, cloud infrastructure, and SaaS.
Experience using monitoring toolsets and working with tier‑1 hardware platforms like Cisco UCS and HP servers.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with technical teams, business users, suppliers, and customers.
Demonstrated commitment to excellent customer service and the ability to build productive, collaborative relationships.
