About the role
- Work closely with business users to understand and define requirements, simplifying technical information so it is clearly understood by stakeholders.
- Perform process and systems analysis, model and document business processes (as is and to be), identifying opportunities for improvement across Ansvar's change portfolio.
- Identify issues, risks and benefits of existing and proposed solutions, outlining business impacts and supporting decision-making.
- Develop and document detailed requirements for preferred solutions, including non-functional requirements such as performance, security and scalability.
- Support projects through structured stakeholder management, including resolution of competing priorities, transparent communication and change control.
Requirements
- At least 5 years' experience working as a Business Analyst, with experience in the insurance or financial services industry preferred.
- A practical understanding of general insurance, including commercial insurance principles, policies, reinsurance and claims.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex business problems into clear, documented requirements.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage across all levels of the business.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and JIRA.
- Experience with application configuration, interface and rules engines is an advantage.
