• Pipeline Generation: Creating 80% of your pipeline by identifying new business opportunities and engaging with multiple personas within the prospect/customer base in partnership with your SDR. Utilize various strategies and tools to generate leads and move them through the sales cycle.
• Sales Forecasting: Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts (+/- 10% of goal), leveraging data to inform decision-making and ensure predictable revenue outcomes with the goal of consistent attainment of revenue targets.
• Solution Selling: Effectively communicate the value of our platform, tailoring presentations and proposals to meet the specific needs of each prospect.
• Negotiation and Closing: Lead negotiations with potential clients, by thoughtfully addressing key stakeholders including multiple personas and CxO in the buyer journey, while navigating organizational complexities, addressing objections and securing new business agreements.
• Account Management: Work across multiple personas within an account to understand their unique needs and align Benchling’s solutions with their business objectives.
• Collaboration: Partner with internal teams (marketing, product, customer success, etc) and external teams (GSIs, AWS, etc) to ensure a seamless experience for clients and drive long-term customer satisfaction.

Enterprise Account Executive

Implementation Specialist

• Manage initial rollouts for new Benchling customers as well as expansion projects with new teams or for new processes at existing customers
• Own implementation success from project kickoff to go-live, leveraging strong project management skills, scientific expertise, and deep product knowledge.
• Build and execute detailed project plans, own project activities, work with other team members to execute on project deliverables to ensure on time, on budget, high quality deployments.
• Understand customers' scientific workflows and determine how Benchling can best be leveraged to meet their key business needs.
• Lead requirements and design workshops, perform data modeling & application configuration, develop test plans and guide UAT execution, train and onboard users.
• Act as a trusted advisor for customers, guiding them through the implementation ensuring they leverage and apply Benchling Best Practices.
• Understand and document customer pain points, advocate for them internally to influence product changes.
• Identify and work with sales on opportunities for account expansion post go-live.

Implementation Manager – Bilingual (English/French)

Financial Planning and Analysis

• Build and maintain full year budgets and quarterly forecasts for various Field Organizations (Sales, Solution Consulting, Sales Operations & Enablement, and Customer Success)
• Deliver monthly/quarterly analyses of financial results including BvA variances to plan, ensuring key issues, risks and business drivers are understood and proactively highlighted

Full-stack Engineer

• Build end-to-end AI agents, prototyping and productionizing systems that automate scientific work, from experiment design to data analysis and reporting.
• Work directly with customers to ideate use cases, gather feedback, build evaluations, and onboard scientific teams.
• Engineer across the stack, from developing new LLM-powered primitives to shipping intuitive user interfaces inside Benchling’s applications.
• Continuously improve our agent platform, contributing to frameworks, tooling, and infrastructure that accelerate future agent development.
• Shape how we build AI at Benchling, driving experimentation, contributing to technical direction, and helping evolve our engineering and product development practices as the field matures.

Software Engineer, Agents

Support Engineer

• Serve as a senior point of contact for day‑to‑day product questions and complex issues across web, email, and chat. Bring empathy for scientists and strong product judgment to resolve cases efficiently while meeting high SLA/SLO and quality standards.
• Operate with autonomy. Set decision cadence, make trade-off calls, and align internal and external stakeholders, including directors and executives, to move work forward.
• Lead enterprise escalations, coordinating multi‑party investigations (Product/Engineering, Build, Security, CX, Sales) and customer IT teams. Own the room with calm, executive‑level communication; establish ownership; provide crisp updates; and drive issues to closure with documented decisions.
• Apply deep product expertise, reproduce issues, analyze logs and API behavior, validate workarounds, and clearly articulate risk, impact, and next steps for customers and stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot across layers—application, integrations, APIs, identity/SSO (SAML/OIDC), data flows, and customer network fundamentals (DNS, TLS, proxies, firewalls)—and pull in the right SMEs at the right time.
• Document and share knowledge by updating external articles and internal runbooks, decision logs, and templates so learnings improve future response and prevention.
• Drive durable outcomes through RCA/CAPA: collaborate on root cause analysis, propose corrective and preventive actions, track follow‑through, and close the loop with customers and teams.
• Mentor and uplevel the team through case reviews, shadowing, and coaching on investigation structure and customer communications; support onboarding new PSAs and contribute enablement content that scales.
• Continuously improve support by leading scoped projects that streamline triage, tooling, and playbooks and by partnering cross‑functionally to surface patterns, influence product priorities, and raise overall readiness.

SMB Account Executive

Solutions Engineer

• Partner with biotechnology organizations at the forefront of innovation to assess their IT landscape, understand strategic objectives, and architect solutions that enable mission-critical outcomes
• Lead end-to-end implementation projects from discovery through successful go-live and adoption
• Provide ongoing strategic guidance, best practice education, and product engagement recommendations to maximize customer value realization
• Collaborate with cross-functional business and technology stakeholders to gather requirements, identify opportunities, and translate business needs into technical solutions in partnership with internal engineering, product, and solutions architecture teams
• Coordinate with Professional Services, Product, and Customer Success teams to orchestrate complex, global enterprise deployments

• Build and execute detailed project plans, own project activities, and work with other team members to execute on project deliverables to ensure on-time, on-budget, high-quality deployments.
• Serve as the GxP subject matter expert during GxP implementations, advising customers on validation strategy, risk-based approaches, and regulatory best practices for implementing Benchling within their quality systems.
• Guide customers through their computer systems validation (CSV) activities, helping them understand how to create validation deliverables (Validation Plans, IQ/OQ/PQ protocols, Traceability Matrices, Validation Summary Reports) aligned with their internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Lead requirements and design workshops, perform data modeling and application configuration, develop test plans and guide UAT execution, train and onboard users.

Detection and Response Engineer

• Investigating security events across the organization using your experience and knowledge in multiple security domains (log analysis, digital forensics, or malware analysis).
• Creating, deploying and maintaining high signal threat detections based on your understanding of threat actor TTPs.
• Architecting a highly scalable incident response process by developing, applying and refining automation for steps of the Incident Response life cycle
• Coordinating multi-functional incident response during security incidents, assisting partner teams during non-security incidents
• Researching new detection mechanisms for attack vectors and techniques relevant to our space and presenting findings to both internal and external audiences.
